Professional Organizers Help Local Head Start Agency Get Organized in 2007

Cumming, GA – Terri Stephens, Real Order Professional Organizing, and Dawn McCloskey, Ultra Organized, both members of The National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), will provide organizing training on January 30 to Head Start of Cumming. The Head Start program was created in 1965 and is the longest-running national school readiness program. The organization provides education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and families.

The National Association of Professional Organizers sponsors its third annual Get Organized Month in January 2007. Get Organized Month is a national industry-wide event dedicated to raising awareness of the benefits of getting organized and of hiring a professional organizer. Getting organized is one of the top five New Year’s resolutions people make and with almost 4,000 NAPO members ready and available to assist, it’s easier than most people think.

To celebrate Get Organized Month, Stephens and McCloskey will volunteer their time to Head Start of Cumming, Georgia, to provide Quantum Leap skills training. NAPO’s Quantum Leap program teaches paper, time, and money management to people in life-changing transitions. Organizational materials for class participants have been generously donated by NAPO and Thinkbin (www.thinkbin.com). Agencies interested in more information on the Quantum Leap program should visit NAPO's website (www.napo.net) or call Terri Stephens at 678-513-6585 or Dawn McCloskey at 770-844-1049.

Terri Stephens founded Real Order Professional Organizing in 2003 and provides customized organizing solutions in residences, home offices, and small businesses. Dawn McCloskey of Ultra Organized specializes in creating organized, stress-free environments in the home, and also provides unpacking and organizing services when relocating.

NAPO, celebrating 20 years as The Organizing Authority®, is the premier national association dedicated to the field of organizing. NAPO’s purpose is to share information about this growing industry and to define quality standards for the organizing profession. For more information on NAPO, visit www.napo.net.
